Singapore Landscape Painting

This work is a compilation of shots of various nature reserves in Singapore, composed into a Song Dynasty style landscape painting. Its topography is structured according to the undulations of the music from Singapore’s national anthem - part celebration, part recognition of the ways that human scripts form territories and perceptions of territories - even in seemingly “wild reserves” such as Sungei Buloh.
